T SQUARE – Allan André

Allan André is a Canadian-born, Multi-Disciplinary artist of west Indian decent based in Ottawa Canada. André’s work has been featured in exhibits in New York, Orlando, Ottawa, Toronto and Montreal. 

In 2014 and 2016, André won the Ottawa regional championship for Art Battle Canada’s nation wide speed painting competition. In July 2016, André won the Art Battle National championship earning him the title of  Canada’s best speed painter.   Allan’s work has been exhibited in galleries, and restaurants. His installation work has also been featured in Ottawa’s Nuit Blanche a city wide dusk till dawn exhibition and more notably in 2015 days after a “Black Lives Matter” message was defaced  on ottawa’s  legal graffiti Tech wall,  along with artist Kalkidan Assefa they created a tribute to Sandra Bland.

T SQUARE – John Dumelo

John Dumelo was born on February 3rd 1984. He is the last born and only son of  three children. John went to primary school at Christ the King International School in Accra, Ghana, where he was selected byGAMA Film Company to play the role as a pupil in the movie “Baby Thief”. He completed his secondary school at Achimota School and continued his undergraduate studies at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Civil Engineering. During his undergraduate studies he has been featured in television series such as “Sun City” and “About To Wed”. His first film became a hit where he was starring as a King in “The King is Mine” back in 2008. Since then, he has acted in over 80 movies. Dumelo has become a fast growing actor known in many African households.

Apart from the acting industry, John Dumelo has created and is highly involved in many charities. In addition to his charity involvement, Dumelo is very involved in businesses. He is very ambitious and owns a construction company and also has shareholder in an IT firm. In 2016, John Dumelo joined the political campaign for Ghana NDC. He desires to one day become the president of Ghana. Dumelo has many dreams and aspirations. Not only does love acting, business and politics, he is also very passionate about woman in healthcare to be more precise, gynecology.

Dumelo, has obtained many awards acknowledgement.  He won Africa’s Most Outstanding Actor in 2011 at the Afro Australian Movies and Music Awards in December of 2011 in Australia. In addition to his award list, He also won the Best African Actor Award at the African Entertainment Awards in April of 2012 in Malaysia. He recently starred in a Hollywood movie with well-known actress Kimberly Ellis in Ghana. In spite of his popularity, awards and recognition, Dumelo remains very humble & modest.

Fun facts about Dumelo; On April 1rst 2014, he became the first Ghanaian celebrity to hit a million likes on Facebook. He is currently one of the richest & most influential actor in Ghana with an estimated net worth of $650,000.
